Boarding School Problems

Anonymous said: Need to apply to prep school/ with a great track/cross country program (preferably one of the elite schools - deerfield, Andover, Exeter, lawrenceville) Which do you suggest?

Out of what you listed, according to my research, Deerfield is the only one of those four that has an official track and field team. This is the website I used though:

The quality of the track and field/ cross country team isn’t really something a school is going to post about on their website necessarily, so if you want a real answer on that I suggest emailing the athletic coordinator at the schools you are truly interested in OR we have handfuls of followers at those schools so you can wait until they either comment on this post or message me. Hopefully this at least helped a little.

Are you serious? Lawrenceville has a PHENOMENAL track team. There are rumors that they recruit runners from Jamaica and Africa.

Your friends from school are legit all over the fucking world in the summer. Europe, China, all over the US, you name it

So hard to explain that I can’t just sneak out of school for the weekend to non boarding school friends

You need to tell the deans, your dorm parents, your prefects, your parents, your grandparents, you third cousins, your dorm parents’ parents, your deans’ in-laws and you still might not get permission
